This family run business was established in 1980 by Michael Youngs, who, aged 21 started as a Pattern Maker for the Engineering Industry at Lawrence & Scotts in Norwich.

In 2000 Michael turned the business into a partnership with his son Mikey who started his working career as a Pattern & Model Apprentice for the Automotive Industry.
Family Business with Experience
Michael's eldest son Robin joined the family business in 2013 and in 2022 Michael himself retired.

Excellence and Professionalism
Today Mikey and Robin are busy providing casting patterns for Foundries and a wide variety of industries; Architecture, Automotive, Motorsport, Marine, Locomotive, Heritage and Restoration to name but a few.

The technical skills used by these Pattern Maker craftsmen within their Pattern Shop involves many traditional and modern methods.
