Vintage Car Engine

As experienced Pattern Makers in the UK we have produced many patterns and core-boxes for the automotive industry.

Generally patterns are manufactured for engine blocks, ancillaries and parts for transmission, even wheels.

Stage 1: Make Template of Original Casting

We started by making the split pattern for the engine block using the original casting as a template:

Stage 2: Corebox

Next we created core boxes for the inside of the engine block. The inside of the corebox is in sections which can be removed.

Stage 3: The Final Set of Patterns

Once completed the patterns consisted of 2 boxless setups, split patterns and several core boxes.
